From childhood, Anna has been immersed in the world of music, with experience ranging from classical piano to performing in rock bands. In 1998, she discovered her passion for tango music, though it would be more than a decade before she began dancing to the melodies she loved. Today, she appreciates both Golden Era classics and Neo tango, hoping these distinct styles will someday find harmonious coexistence. |
| "Music flows through me, and I flow with the music," Anna explains. "Each set I play unfolds live, responding to the energy of the dance floor in that precise moment. I cherish creating continuous musical journeys that guide dancers through time and emotions. My passion lies in the process—discovering new pieces, experimenting with different sounds, weaving them together at the console, and connecting with the dancers' energy. My only frustration is that certain pieces I long to dance to rarely get played or just don't exist outside of console, so I dance to them solo while mixing for others." | |

First and foremost, I am a dancer, and that’s where every musical choice begins. As a Neo Tango DJ, I shape my sets directly from what unfolds on the floor: the energy, the pauses, the unexpected sparks between dancers. Nothing is pre‑planned; the music evolves in real time, guided by the movement in the room. |
|
Each transition becomes a living dialogue between body and sound, turning the night into a shared creation. My aim is to craft a vibrant, sensitive, and surprising flow where every dancer can find their own journey. When the whole floor breathes as one, the music comes alive and that’s when the magic happens. Groovy Paul (DJ since childhood) – Brussels |
